is easy in the village. The trails cost up to 8 euro per day. |

| The origin
of skiing as we know it today. Looks incredibly graceful and is
a real workout for the legs. Tuition available from the ski schools
in the village. |

| Raquettes |
| Snowshoes
to you and I - Many shops in the village hire these and instructors
are always willing to take you on a guided tour darting in and out
of the trees. We'll established routes on or off the beaten track
- you will have an amazing day (or afternoon), and come back with
lots of local knowledge. |
| Hiking |
When the snow
isn't 6 foot deep, why not go for a walk down to the old Church,
or simply explore every part of La Rosiere - from Le Gollet all
the way up to Les Eucherts. It will take approximately 1 and a half
hours; but don't worry, there's a beautiful café and restaurant,
on the piste at Les Eucherts, and, more importantly, a free bus
service to bring you back! |
| The village
cinema. |
| Forget when
it used to be a noisy old film reel whirring 3 seats behind you
- La Rosiere has a state of the art 2 screen cinema that shows new
films (in English) weekly. 5 minute walk. |
| Bungee trampolines. |
| You can do
a double back flip. It just so happens that you need a huge metal
frame, miles of elastic and a pneumatic pump to assist you. Great
fun, kids love it and it seems to help them sleep well. Cost=5 euro.

| Gym / Steam
Room / Sauna /Jacuzzi |
| If your group
is up for a relaxation session or have excess energy that the slopes
didn't totally exhaust, we are lucky enough to have the spa, steam
room, sauna, Jacuzzi and gym within 5 minutes walk from the chalet.
NOTE: if you all want an extra long relaxation session, we are willing
to bring dinner forward or eat a little later if you wish. It is
your holiday and we want it to be the best alpine break you've ever
had. |
| Snow sculpting |
Last year did
see a courageous few people build a half pipe in the garden. It
was huge and goes to show you that when kids start doing something,
adults want to get in on the fun and usually go over the top! |
| Vin chaud

| When was the
last time you were out in a garden with fairy lights on the trees,
top of a mountain on a clear night, looking up at a million stars
shining down on you with a heart and soul warming glass of home
made hot wine in your hand? If walking back from your local is the
closest you come to it, then this has got to be tried. |
