'MoreAlps'
aims to provide every guest with a holiday they'll want to talk
about and always remember.
Sarah and Dan came to La Rosiere in 2000. Dan has worked for two years as a ski and snowboard instructor in America while Sarah has been cooking beautiful meals in hotels in France and golf courses in Ireland. This will be their seventh season - their experience in La Rosiere; it's locals and the best pistes / bars / restaurants to visit ensures you spend your holiday enjoying every minute. Their experience has also proved invaluable when minor and major crises occur - such as sourcing asthma inhalers from our local doctor at 2 in the morning. Our experience will make your holiday experience amazing. |
We love
the fact that skiing, snowboarding, snowblading and the general
lifestyle in the alps is amazing at every level and every age.
After learning your first turns at 5 or 65, to jumping
30 metres, (after tuition -every Friday- from our local
French national ski jumper), or carving some turns in deep fresh
powder, nothing beats the feeling of a top day on the slopes. |
 |
| Be part
of La Rosiere's traditional torch light descent every Monday
evening, |
Then watch
the instructors aerial skiing and snowboarding display and enjoy
some complimentary vin chaud. Maybe you'd like to save the Dutch
Courage for the weekly visit to the International Olympic
bob sleigh circuit - don't worry if you had your eyes closed
while you were hurtling down at 70 mph - you'll recieve a certificate
to prove it was real!! La Rosiere really puts the finishing
touches on the holidays that we offer - memories from your week
in our chalet will last long after your tan lines have faded! |
